Kelsi Haberman is a muralist, painter, and sculptor living in Louisville Ky. In 2009 they went on to become a tattoo artist for 5 years at places such as Stay Gold Studios and Truths Tattoos .In 2015 they began to venture from skin to canvas and fell in love with acrylic painting on found objects. In 2020 they applied to Kentucky College of Art & Design and received a full tuition scholarship. April 2020 they received the opportunity to internship with Carlos Gamez De Francisco and CJ Pressma. The combination of a new educational setting and being highly influenced by human rights activists, fueled them to create works that became a way of exploring the relationship between gentrification and the myth of Revitalization while focusing on site specific installations.
